Stage the production of your dreams at the Tennessee Williams Cabaret

Performance March 5, 2025 at Tennessee Williams Theatre Cabaret
The successful grant applicant in the Performing Arts (e.g. music, film, dance, comedy or theater) will get the opportunity to stage their performance at the Tennessee Williams Theater Cabaret along with lighting and sound assistance, valued at $9,000. They will also receive $5,000 in grant money to support the production.
Sloppy Joe’s Foundation is the Premier Sponsor for the Joint Performance Grant.
Marketing assistance will be provided via Social Media, Press Releases and collaboration with music and arts associations throughout the Keys.
NOTE: Performing artists may apply for either the $3000 AMAF grant or the new JOINT PERFORMANCE GRANT. All JOINT PERFORMANCE GRANT applications, if they are not chosen, will be reviewed for a standard AMAF grant - maximum $3000 award.
GRANT APPLICATIONS open February 15, 2025 at 10am. Applications close March 31, 2025, at 5pm EST.
GENERAL INFORMATION to be included in the Joint Performance Grant Application
Please prepare this information before you apply:
· Description of concept ideas (e.g. Barbershop quartet, Shirley Bassey playlist, comedy routine, drama, dance performance)
· Sample audio and/or video, script, etc. must be included
· Milestone dates for song list, rehearsals, etc.
· Budget for preparation, advertising and performance
· Selection early April
· Payments:
An initial payment of the Grant is given at an awards ceremony in May 2025
Subsequent payments are made at completion of specific milestones
Remainder of the Grant is awarded at the time of the Performance
Grant recipient will also receive 50% of the ticket sales.
TWT and McKee Fund will choose one Performance project each year for this joint grant

Commitment to the cultural community
MILESTONES DATES
TWT and McKee Fund will monitor progress. Concept, song list, comedy script, etc., rehearsal dates as outlined in project.
First performance at Tennessee Williams Theatre scheduled for 2025/26 season December 2025 – April 2026. TWT to offer performance date options. Agreed with grantee. Ticket sales will be split 50/50 with the performer and TWT.
